School Song

1. School of our hearts, we will cherish thee still

With a great love which never shall fade,

Where’er we may roam, distant lowland and hill

O’er the ocean, through desert and glade,

As the long years wing on, each memory will hold

Happy scenes of the days in the past

Gladsome thought and remembrances purer than gold

With a vision which ever shall last.

2. School of our hearts, we will cherish thee still

For the blessing of laughter and fun,

For the innocent play time you gave us to fill,

Those swift moments of life just begun,

For the care as we followed from page unto page

And the guidance on life’s wound’rous road

As it led us through Childhood and Youth’s golden age

To’ the gates of Thy happy abode.

3. School of our hearts, we will cherish thee still

For the lesson of duty we learned,

For the courage to take up each cross with a will

And to stand for the right – not be turn’d

From the deadly affray where temptation is rife,

But to struggle and bravely endure,

Till the battle is won though the cost be our life

Grand tradition of lives gone before!

4. School of our hearts, we will cherish thee still

In the name of our comrade of old,

One who follow’d the Master through good and through ill

Out of weakness found strength to be bold
